Suggestions for improvement
- I would simply like to see a more employee-friendly compensation policy. There were some very lean months for me where I took home the “base pay,” which after taxes and 401(k) contribution amounted to a monthly net of $1300. I realize that’s the absolute “base,” but I never thought that would happen to me, and it happened two months in a row. A better safety net would help to eliminate worry and stress.
What I like about the company
I’ve had some personal challenges that infected my work performance. The company was not only supportive of me as a person, but frankly, they’ve been more lenient/understanding with me than I could even ask for.
What I dislike about the company
I wish that the compensation was a little larger and there was a matching 401(k). I also think that the company could be a little bit more transparent with staff, though credit is due that the company has made progress on this issue since I joined.
