Support from management
Unprofessional in that they can not work with left handed people.
Freedom to work independently
Was made to work thru break time. Got yelled at for stopping to get a drink of water when it was 108 degrees outside
Office / Work Environment
Was told to cut concrete in a pump house with out ventilation or givin an approved respirator. Was made to go in to a 18" pipe with no safety line attached to me. They would tell me to do it or I'm fired .
There should be negative stars for this one. Very unsafe . Don't use trench plates , lifellines when working in confined spaces , get yelled at for drinking water when it's 108 degrees
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to remember not everyone swings a hammer with their right hand or shovels dirt the way a right handed person would.
What I like about the company
The pay rate
What I dislike about the company
They street unable to work with people who are left handed . Was told to make sure things were right before pouring concrete ,but when I would ask question about why they set something up wrong they would tell me to shut up and do what they said and not ask questions. Then after concrete had been poured and it had set up they would yell at me because I didn't catch the mess up or say anything about it.
