Suggestions for improvement
- Improve business development effort. Be willing to keep workers on a reduced-hour/reduced pay basis when work declines. Be willing to keep workers on overhead for a time in slack periods.
What I like about the company
It is a friendly place with most employees and managers being approachable. Salaries and benefits are relatively good.
What I dislike about the company
Inconsistency in workload. Too many eggs in far too few baskets. Inability to keep employees productive enough to support them. I have worked there twice, had good reviews, yet have not been able to remain employed more that 26 months contiguously. I have seen other employees who were doing a good job terminated abruptly apparently when corporate office in Philly decided to consolidate functions. Layoffs are common, seemingly more so in some groups than others. Designers are very disposable to management.
