Moral plummeted with takeover of upper management in all departments. What used to feel like a family company now is now torn apart with various departments working against each other and pointing fingers instead of working toward a common goal.
Support from management
After the untimely death of the former I.T. VP, the replacement leader brought in all their cohorts from their previous employer and tried to begin running the I.T. department like their former department w/o understanding the culture, needs, skills, and structure of their current company and I.T. department. Customers have complained this is not the same Dayco as 3 or 4 years ago, and the replacement of upper-level management, both I.T. and non-I.T., is what has changed.
