There's no trust from associates to management. There's many underhanded situations that have taken place that are illegal but always hidden from people.
Support from management
Majority of management in different locations only look out for themselves. They do not consider their employees and they stand behind the companies name. There's no support when complaints are toward store managers or above.
There's not much teamwork from everyone nor is it supported. Some managers support teamwork but others do not. Some locations have great teams that work well together and managers allow employees to help one another.
Freedom to work independently
The work is not fairly distributed nor does one get a fair amount of time to complete tasks. Most locations are short staffed and managers will sometimes miss lunches to make sure things get done, some even work off the clock.
Communication is open, brief store meetings held twice a day. Manager meetings at least once a week.
They have great opportunities but there's numerous stipulations behind them.
There is no balance. Students are asked to skip extra curricular activities to come in early, and stay late during the week. Families aren't considered like they should.
I have not meet anyone that had good things to say about the company.
The company fires and hires on a daily basis, it is a revolving door.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire employees that actually want to work, with better attitudes. Change stipulations on employees and termination.
- Choose better locations for stores. All the current locations are in dangerous areas.
What I like about the company
The pay was good and they raised their minimum wage for regular associates.
What I dislike about the company
I didn't like how the manager would talk to employees or the unrealistic tasks and deadlines.
