The CEO and President are good, but seem to have lost their focus and have been steered in the wrong direction by Human Resource personnel who seem to be there for the sole purpose of justifying their jobs.
Departments don't work well together. In the Supply Chain, a Logistics vs. Materials Management environment existed for years, and the managing partner's frequent absence contributed to it.
Upper communication is great. But the supply chain directors have an "I've got mine" attitude that is very condescending and very poor communication.
Only for the select few, and its only offered to people with very outgoing personalities - primarily younger associates under age 35.
The CEO described a "budget mistake" that ended up costing dozens of associates their jobs. Hard to believe that this could happen in a company of this size!
Inclusive / Diverse
The (woman) partner of the Supply Chain holds a "women in the supply chain" monthly meeting, however, a high number of women are already making more in compensation that over half of the men.
Suggestions for improvement
- The supply chain is left in the hands of some very incompetent directors/managers. It's shocking how bad they are, really!
