Company Culture

There is no positive culture in the PG office. If the true fundamentals of leadership and or real management was to be painted on it would wash away quickly as there is no management.

Support from management

Company leaders are not supportive of their technicians and operations management in the PG office fail to support programs to improve operations and technician safety.

Teamwork

There is very little team oriented programs or attention to the value a team concept. PG office actually ignites the technicians to think more about self as the supervisors fail to assist the technicians.

Freedom to work independently

The customer had to take full control and except little input from the PG office as the work was never issued fairly and their customers were suffering from the over all operation.

Internal Communication

Does not have any meaning unless it is negative then you can be so informed you could think you just won the million dollar lottery.

Gender Equality

Women in this company have no chance they will be nothing but clerks praying to get through the week because their jobs are not really a we have to have it.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Long as you can do your job your ok.

Career Development

No program is in place. As long as you are in good with the manager in the PG office you may have a chance.

Overall compensation for your work

Most of the staff can't afford it because the potential earnings are so small.

Office / Work Environment

Depends on the section you work in. But for the most part it sucks.

Environmental Friendliness

Does not apply nothing is fair in the PG office unless you are in the managers click.

Work-Life Balance

Nothing is fair to the subordinates. Fairness only comes if you are in the PG office manager's circle.

Company Image

Very few positive comments.

Job Security

I am a victim of this. There is no security for anyone lower than manager. Ironically no managers are ever effected by this they find something for them somewhere in the company.

Handicapped Accessibility

No issues

Workplace Safety

The company tries but the local PG office does participate and if like me you comply you get fired.

Challenging Work

Can't feel good about completing anything here as your completions drive your check and the pay program for a technician is designed to pay him / her as little as possible.

Inclusive / Diverse

Nothing diverse about the company as it has none.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Close the doors and start all over again and get some real managers and leaders.

What I like about the company

Nothing now.

What I dislike about the company

The lack of ethics by the management team at the local level and now the corporate level has bought in and have no desire to focus a positive environment.

Support from management

There is no owner leadership for the company. anything taken to him and addressed by him becomes a beat down by the operations manager at least in Beltsville. situation or concerns are taken and then comes the get back attitude.

Teamwork

What teamwork. The so called supervisors have no concern for their techs development or wellbeing. It is all about their time off and their families. They leave the tech hanging.

Freedom to work independently

Comcast has taken over the work distribution for the most part but somehow they figured out how screw the techs anyway.

Internal Communication

There is no information passed down to where the company is or where it is going. There is no effective counseling program. But a highly promoted write system for subordinates to be beaten down with.

Gender Equality

No. there is no equality. Depends on who you are and personal relationships.

Attitude towards older colleagues

They have no concern for this. if you are not in the click then you are discarded.

Career Development

This again is based on if you are a buddy or willing to participate in the outside of work party gatherings. Regardless as to why you can't participate.

Office / Work Environment

There is no respect for the techs mental or personal wellbeing. Managers take the safety program and openly call it a joke.

Environmental Friendliness

No

Work-Life Balance

No. It only counts for who is in the click. All others are just left out twisting in the breeze. Techs pay is negatively effected if they are off or go pass 35 hours.

Company Image

The image is polar opposite of the true make up. This is because the primary customer changed their business relationship and chose to go with whom they had personal relationships with causing them to back whatever came with not being fair. Can you say egg on face.

Job Security

There is none. There is no development programs or advancing through training. No drive on educating.

Handicapped Accessibility

Yes

Workplace Safety

The Safety Manager and Director have a great program. However, the local manager in Beltsville openly brushes it off.

Challenging Work

Not really because the pay return is so small you can't see the good in your effort. The number one reason for the great turn over in the company. The competitor companies pay a lot better for the same task.

Inclusive / Diverse

No. Regardless of your years in service. Now they will take your ideas later and use them and then claim them as their own.

Suggestions for improvement

  • A actual staff development consultant should be brought in and complete a assessment and the owner actually follow it and do the things they recommend. The first thing is get rid of all the people with the personal ties that have not done the job but given the hall pass.

What I like about the company

Not much after seeing the lack of ownership involvement.

What I dislike about the company

Lack of protection.
The personal relationships.
The lack of professionalism.
The lack of commitment.
