  • Work on hiring more workers to lower case loads. Increase in all workers salary.

What I like about the company

Working with families and children to help keep them safe is rewarding

What I dislike about the company

Lack of support for all workers. Caseloads are too high for workers. Salaries also need to be increased.

  • I wish that we could keep workers I wish that we could also have flow floater workers who when someone leaves there is there are a few workers who can Tyler step in and help and support it I wish that they were better benefits like childcare or things for the employees because we spend a lot of time here away from my family is always an a lot having to eat out especially when you’re not home breakfast lunch and dinner you’re buying all three meals if you’re not preparing or if you didn’t plan on it are use lotta gas is it’s just a lot of stress right now employees

What I like about the company

I have worked here for about 10 years and have been great friendships with my coworkers I have also seen the positive impact we have on children’s lives when the work is done the right way

What I dislike about the company

I feel like leadership does not have support the employees enough to do this work and also take care of the families that we have at home I feel like the demand and time constraints that are placed upon us are very restricting

  • Return to the purpose of the company being to help people in need, not turning the whole process into a numbers game.

What I like about the company

Pay raises we're based on the programs you learned.

What I dislike about the company

Upper management telling employees to cut corners on cases ( which resulted in multiple errors of customers losing benefits) just to have high numbers of cases completed for each week/ months quota.

  • Considering the difficulty of the work and need for lots of focus most of the time, cubicles are a terrible idea. It cuts work productivity in half.

What I like about the company

Although difficult, the work can be very rewarding. Ensuring the safety and well being of children can make you feel like you are making a contribution to the world.

What I dislike about the company

Expectations of upper management are often unreasonable. Nobody takes the time to find out what lower level employees need to be successful or they do not care.

  • Upper management should make more contact with line staff and make changes based on some of their suggestions.

What I like about the company

I have been able to work with a variety of families and children through many activities. I have been able to help families to keep their children in the home. I have also been able to also help children who were in foster care be placed with forever families to help them with permanency in their life. It is a wonderful feeling to see children who have been abused or neglected to finally get someone in their lives that care about them for their future.

What I dislike about the company

There are not enough case managers that are being hired to do the job well. There needs to be more support from the upper management. Administrators do not seem to support the line staff as much as possible. It could be more engagement for motivation to the staff from upper management.
