Department of Human Services experience report

  • Employee

Very hard and emotionally taxing work. People are in the office can be hurried and harsh, but they do good work.

Suggestions for improvement

  • A much better break room. The break room is crap with uncomfortable chairs and cheap cafeteria tables. Super expensive vending machines and stinky broken down refrigerators . Would it kill them to buy a couch?!? How about a decent coffee machine for community use? How about some plants and a community style table with grown up chairs?

What I like about the company

Everyone asks how I'm doing and if I need anything. I'm encouraged to take care of myself and do my best work.

What I dislike about the company

Not everyone is open to the new way of doing things. Ethics are paramount now and the burnt out employees are slowly leaving.
