Teamwork

While moving to different areas, we were filling that gap where there was no regular coverage. Everyone rotated into the Customer Service Public Service. Then we got back to doing our normal assignments.

Gender Equality

If and when you can become a permanent worker, the equality is there.

Attitude towards older colleagues

I have taken additional classes, that have raised my hiring marketability, but I feel I might be having a little trouble getting in the promotional arena. That does not stop me from trying and using all that I have to offer an employer.

Career Development

I did make a note that they do have online classes. Also some scheduled classes were available onsite.

Overall compensation for your work

As a permanent State Employee the benefits are extremely good for today's economy. As any other part time employee, there is a little more effort you have to do to reach your personal goals. Either way the work is satisfying.

Challenging Work

It was a good feeling knowing that you could complete a workload and see satisfied customers. It did give me a sense of accomplishment. I was also able to mover around within the Department to do different tasks so it was also not so monotonous.
