Suggestions for improvement
- Hire people with actual managerial experience. Performance-based pay with regular evaluations and opportunities for bonuses. Demonstrate the need for accountability by disciplining those who do less or break the rules. Show some regard and value for yourbest employees instead of consistently insulting them by adding additional tasks to their workload without compensation and then not even recognizing them for what they do (which is make all of the money for your clinic).
What I like about the company
The providers I work for are inspiring role models and wonderful healthcare providers. I have learned an incredible amount. I have had the opportunity to become a certified Dermatology Technician and Medical Assistant without going to school (on the job training provided).
What I dislike about the company
They do not value their employees at all. They completely take for granted their best talent and allow their strongest employees to consistently pick up the slack of inefficient and unproductive people (who are compensated equally). There is no accountability - those who do far less are not reprimanded, but are instead paid the same amount as those who do infinitely more. There is an atmosphere of resentment and discontent amongst the best employees. Management has no actual managerial training but are just old Medical Assistants who got promoted, so they don’t actually manage, and have so many friends amongst the employees that they play personal favorites. The providers and assistants are micromanaged to such a disturbing degree from people who arent even working in the clinic. There’s a reason this is a transient job - their turnover rate is insanely high because any worthwhile employee won’t stick around to be taken for granted.
