Support from management
When you had the leaderships attention you had 100% support.
The sales team had a bi-weekly call that 90% of the conversation was the CEO distributing information. Outside of that call the sellers had almost 0 interaction with anyone else on the team. Even when there was pressing issues it took days to get responses from the factory. This made working for customers next to impossible.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation was appropriate, the health plan could have been a lot better, 0 retirement options.
This companies reputation isn't the best among customers. On more than one occasion they have let very large business walk away bc they could not support it financially. Normally this would make good business sense, just don't make that decision after making a commitment to the customer.
People where layed off and brought back constantly. Every day you would wonder if it was your last. Very insecure.
Always playing catch up to the competition.
