It's a good place to work, but more for someone who's actually into sports and has a competitive spirit. They have competitive starting pay and good benefits.

It helps when you work as a team player.

They're pretty good about gender equality as well.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I was an older associate, and they were usually pretty fair with me, hours and pay alike.
Again, if you show up for work, on time, with an "I can do" attitude, and show an interest in moving up in the company, it will happen.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay depends on your skills and which department you work for. There are yearly reviews and raises, based on your work.

Suggestions for improvement
- I think management could probably listen to associate ideas a little more, they would improve the stores and company as a whole.
What I like about the company
I enjoyed working with my colleagues, and our managers were very easy to talk to. The customers were generally pretty nice too. The reason I left is I'm moving to a different State, and there aren't any of our stores close enough to our house.
What I dislike about the company
I think the raises could've been a little higher each year.
