Suggestions for improvement

Unfortunately the culture by and large is an old formula that in my opinion does not hold up so well in today's environment. The structure of the local management remained the same in my 25 years with the company. The service end of the industry works in spite of management not due to good management.
The leadership at Diebold leaves something to be desired, it's hit or miss as to how professional mid management is. I found in many instances as a long time employee, that my knowledge was far beyond that of my direct manager. While not a deal breaker for the job it was frustrating at best.
I worked in a smaller office that was inside sales. When I first started, we did a lot of pot-luck lunches and parties. It broke up the day and it was a fun way to meet others.
