Suggestions for improvement
- Try thinking more firmly about your goals and desires before you pilfer people from their much-less-shaky current positions into a position that you don't understand, or value, or appreciate, or plan to keep. It's unprofessional and word will spread quickly of the manner dt treats employees once you look past all the unnecessary perks that do little to encourage positivity in a place that's actually quite negative. It's very unfortunate, but dt could be great. Sadly, it will never be. All that leave, never look back and are much better for it. One day, the karma wheel will circle back.
What I like about the company
You'll have the opportunity to work outside your comfort zone and learn a lot of new things.
What I dislike about the company
The company is surprisingly disorganized and impatient with their own progress. They have dire retention of employees with monthly churn that exceeds normalcy for a company that has less than 40 employees. And sadly that number continues to decline. During my tenor, several people were 'laid-off' and more than that quit. The company does little to retain good talent and can't steer its course for more than a few months before it switches directions. Little patience for change. Hostile founder with large personality swings and prone to outbursts.
