There is a lot of finger pointing, not actions to find the root of problems
No accountability for multiple errors, effecting entire factory
It's an "each man for himself" environment.
Lazy people get to be lazy, while everyone else picks up the slack.
Clear communication when important, usually when close to crisis situations.
This is a friends and family sort of company. Some hired on connections, not on skills.
If you can get longevity here, it is appreciated. Seasoned employees are expected to pick up the slack.
Very little room for growth
Good benefits. Pay is OK, but raises/bonuses are slight at best.
Fair conditions, set work hours. OT encouraged, but rarely mandatory.
Too socially aware, HR is not effective. Scared Rabbits
Good balance. Go to work, go home, forget about your day.
Horrible image both internal and external. Management very difficult to deal with some times.
Rarely see anyone fired/lay off. High turn over due to people finding other/better employment.
If a wheelchair was needed, closest parking is on other side of building. Not the companies fault, just a layout problem. They seem attentive to individual needs.
Not as high a priority as it should be. Old equipment, very harsh chemicals, bad work habits will get someone injured.
Work can be challenging, especially toward the end of the month when it is crunch time to hit the output numbers required.
Ideas and opinions are listened to. Some times acted upon.
It's a steady job, and I don't fear losing it unless I do something really dumb. They don't fire people generally.
HR department is inaccessible. They don't seem to really care about employees, just corporate image. Management does not listen to facts, just point fingers and bully. That is why the turnover rate is so high.
KC might be a nice place to live
No time to see anything in KC. Job was 70-80 hours per week and cell going off 24x7. If that's not bad enough there is plenty of management flogging to make you even more miserable. I would be amazed if anybody in this factory's history ever gave it positive feedback
