Suggestions for improvement
- I have nothing to report for this question.
Very laid back culture. Ideal for younger workers looking to gain experience. Not so ideal for seasoned professionals who grow weary of the younger staff who take advantage of the laid back environment.
Supervisors are relatively unable provide conflict resolution, set realistic goals, or make clear comprehensible decisions. This is because customer service reps are promoted to supervisors based on their accomplishments in their customer service role, not management. This creates an environment where you have really "nice" management Bc their customer service persona required and molded it, but they have absolutely no idea how to lead or manage a group of adults. And unfortunately, there is no on-site management training. If you can keep good numbers while in customer service, and have a great personality, you can become a manager at discover... Even if you have never managed dishes into a dishwasher.
my previous manager took things very personal. She was not very professional at all.
