It’s more associated with Latin background and that’s great, however, I prefer to have my company be diversed because I like learning about other cultures.
Support from management
No support system whatsoever!
Teamwork is where it lacks. This is my opinion and I understand others may feel different however, there are some who do more than others and they have no recognition. The people who do less gets the credit which is so uncalled for!
Freedom to work independently
This company is basically working independently. There is a team but you alone are responsible for various tasks that are overwhelming to tackle down at a limited period of time.
The only communicating there is when it’s to their benefit and advantage. I am referring to the managers. (At Chicago, Belmont & Kimball)
I’ve heard there were males working with us but recently, none have applied or were considered.
Overall compensation for your work
You don’t get paid enough for what you do.
Office / Work Environment
Too much drama. A business/workplace where there’s only females crates drama and there’s conflict towards one another. It gets ridiculous!
The balance is crazy. They expect so much and act like you have no personal life outside of work. No balance whatsoever!
No security even when we have multiple run ins and thefts, oh also a fire!
Inclusive / Diverse
Some to none to the location I am ar.
Suggestions for improvement
- Number one suggestion is for this retail company to get a security guard to prevent run ins and for overall safety for the women in a clothing store! Second suggestion is to have a better communication base or have more meetings. Don’t have meetings only when the holidays are coming. Have meetings to have a game plan daily, have meetings to catch up with everyone’s schedule so the schedules wouldn’t be an issue and have people calling less..etc. Third suggestion is have bonuses for hard working employees who actually put in their 110% effort (excluding managers) into their tasks! Fourth suggestion is to raise the compensation rate. Customer service is stressful and owners should recognize that and learn about that. It’s not an easy job. Customers comes in all shapes and forms and employees who interact with up themfront and center have to be dealing with the REAL issues rather than the ones behind a screen and a phone.
What I like about the company
You get a decent discount for being an employee and discover who are the real reliables to finish the job right!
What I dislike about the company
The management is horrible! It needs to be perfected in so many levels!
