If you are director or above you are treated like royalty otherwise you are a peasant.
Support from management
There is the occasional assistance from management but rarely if you are not above a director.
since the communication is terrible the teamwork comes hand in hand as terrible. there is no communication when changes are being made and things are going to break. people are blaming other people for things going wrong.
Freedom to work independently
This is pretty positive minus when something goes wrong and you are the scapegoat
Communication between departments is terrible.
Since many departments are "thin" you are asked to wait until there is coverage, especially considering there is usually only one person that knows how to fix most things.
Office / Work Environment
Neutral...unless you are high up you are expected to cut into your family time otherwise you are not a team player
Smoke in mirrors my friends! Everything may look great from the outside but really its all about the $ and cost cutting in places that upper management feels necessary. There is a lot of favoritism as well.
Yearly layoffs are expected and everyone freaks out.
Its challenging but only due to stupid choices by upper management allowing large numbers of sales people and no support.
