Some of the management team commended their staff using their own money. Employees did/do not trust upper management they were not consistent with how they treated employees.
Support from management
When situations/problems occured upper management would not take responsibility of their actions. It was always trickled down.
Staff had to depend on one another because upper management did not support the staff when needed. Rules and policies were made as situations presented themselves and were not consistent.
Freedom to work independently
If you complained it was discussed in management meetings and the employee was mentioned by name and department.
Communication was very poor. There were never any informative meeting about what was happening. If the supervisors or managers did not inform the staff they ertr not told anything.
Overall compensation for your work
There are weeks where salaries are not paid and they have to catch up. Benefits have been discontinued (dental, vision, disability) and the medical benefits are now being provided through SHOP with employees paying a larger portion. Some employees opted for insurance through Healthcare.gov.
Office / Work Environment
Computers were not up to date and they were behind on updates which resulted in the inability to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
Most of the employees do not speak favorably and do not recommend this hospital to family or friends.
Because of the financial situation positions are not stable.
What I like about the company
There are some good staff working there and even in diversity loyal.
What I dislike about the company
Not knowing if you will be paid and when.
