Support from management
More micro management then any company I've ever worked for.
Attitude towards older colleagues
As a matter of fact that's 85% of the company. If anything, those under 40 get less respect.
You will make about as much as you would working at Wal-Mart. Seasonal employees are not trained well.
Overall compensation for your work
Low pay, the benefits package they offer is to expensive for the rate of pay. No one can afford to give half their paycheck to insurance.
The marketing team dots a great job misrepresenting how great a company it is..if they didn't we would've gone out of business long ago.
The majority of the individuals employed are seasonal, street busy season we become understaffed, until there's suddenly no sales at all due to the nature of the products. Permanent employees are remember constantly how expendable they are when mistakes are made. Do not call in, EVER!
No. Honestly, they probably wouldn't hire someone knowingly disabled.
It's a safe job, you're at a desk all day..the training program, however, leaves much room for improvement.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire enough people to do the tasks at hand, pay them a livable wage, train them in a manner that is not overwhelming, but still gives all the necessary tools to perform daily functions accurately.
What I like about the company
Less and less everyday.
What I dislike about the company
More and more every day.
