Suggestions for improvement

  • Hire good people with the right attitude, not just people with degrees.

What I like about the company

It's a good introduction to the work world and workplace and if you work hard and there's a position open, you could get the position of assistant manager and have that on your resumé within a year after entering the workplace.

What I dislike about the company

The pay. It depends on how hard one works, but if you're not working that hard, to begin with then the pay matches your effort.

Workplace Safety

The backroom, stock room, freezers and refrigerated areas of the store are OVER LOADED, food in the floor in all areas, toppling towers of freight, freight on the floors in the isles for customers to trip over, the cases on the floor are in the walk way, The shelves are bare and nothing is out of cases....ladders are not used or stored correctly, the helium bottles are not stored correctly, door seals and fire extinguishes and fire alarms are not check regulaly

Suggestions for improvement

  • DO NOT TAKE A STORE MANAGEMENT POSITION!!!!!! The training is a joke. 1. You get maybe 10 hours to learn all that you have to do on the computer like scheduling, how to hire and fire, how to interview, how to order store supplies and frozen order, which Manager does which job, all of their duties, how to make your hours and payroll come out together, whom to correspond with about things or situations on premises, and the rest is 130 hours of throwing the freight for the training store....YOU NOT TAUGHT POLICY! YOUR NOT TAUGHT ALOT OF THINGS ABOUT HOW THE COMPANY THINKS YOU SGOULD DO THINGS!!!!
