Suggestions for improvement
- There are ovens. The A/C should always work. It makes it much easier to work with people when they aren't hot and grumpy. I would enforce some kind of call out list with verbal and written warnings and after that termination. People constantly call out for the dumbest reasons. Pay your employees better and you will have better employees. You can't expect much out of people who are only making a little over minimum wage. Everyone deserves to get a raise, if they are doing their job well.
What I like about the company
I have met many great people. I have always been able to keep the hours I have which helps me with getting my daughter from school. I have learned about labor, inventory and food cost. I also learned how to make pizzas. I have gained a lot of customer service skills. The owner would make us birthday cakes for our birthdays. I have, also, met many people around our little town.
What I dislike about the company
I disapprove of management training. They should incorporate some leadership classes. Many of the managers don't know how to work with employees. They should do more store visits, as well. It feels like the store is running wild because the managers have no control over the employees. I would suggest checking the cameras a little more to see what is going on inside the store.
