Support from management
Management does not communicate with each other, they're on their own program, then they turn around and get upset with you for their non communication.
Some employees wants to work each other while other employees purposly take a long period to do a task just to avoid working with others.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is so low, you can barely afford the benefits and 401k.
Everyone is not on the same page when it comes to hours. Some people are giving 4-10's while other are forced to work 5-8's.
A lot of the employees are always talking about leaving this company.
This is a contract job and when a change of schedule went into effect by our contractor, a lot of us was close to being laid off.
Suggestions for improvement
- Higher pay, management talking to us like we're human beings, better benefits, give us sick pay.
What I like about the company
They allow me to take time off with out pay so I can stack my personal time off up for when I really need it. Management makes an effort to work with me when I need/take time off.
What I dislike about the company
No sick pay, if you can in for the day, management contacts you and goes off, or threats to write you up no matter what you tell them, this site is very understaff which gives the technicians who works in the maintenance building more work which a lot of times we complete the assignments.
