We’re transparent, collaborative, and building a company people love
We're not your traditional corporate environment filled with closed-off desks and suffocating hallways. Our home office features an open floorplan complete with glass conference rooms and plenty of natural light. But the theme of transparency goes beyond our interior design as it’s not uncommon to see different departments and skill levels work together on projects, creating common chords of camaraderie and friendships.
At DriveTime, our employees are given daily opportunities to pave their own career path with the ability to change roles and take on new responsibilities over time, evolving professionally as the company evolves culturally. A continuous pulse of intellectual curiosity drives our team members to challenge themselves and each other.
Retail stores are the frontlines of our organization.
It's where we educate and empower customers so they can make the right decision for their automotive needs. At DriveTime our theme of transparency is fluid, seamlessly flowing between home office and store. Typical auto dealerships can intimidate customers with closed floorplans and back offices that add a sense of mystery to the car buying process. We’ve broken down those barriers—literally—with our no-haggle, no-pressure policy and a culture of friendliness and openness that’s exchanged between our customers and employees.
Starting as a Sales Advisor is only the beginning. We hire smart, hardworking individuals and invest our time in developing leaders that greatly impact our organization. We promote primarily from within and offer an Advanced Leadership Program to hardworking employees who wish to continue their career path and growth within DriveTime.
Our Operations Centers in Mesa, AZ and Dallas, TX are responsible for supporting several key functions at DriveTime.
From customer service to recruiting, internet sales to accounts payable, the Operations team is DriveTime’s thriving heartbeat. At the crossroads of technology and communication, our Operations office is as diverse and driven as the people who keep it running.
Transparency is at the center of DriveTime Operations and it shows in everything we do. Whether helping customers with a specific need, getting the right driver benefits, or finding a match with the next great employee, our Operations team keeps DriveTime growing.
Inspection Center Careers
Our Inspection Centers are conveyor belts of productivity.
The DriveTime product experience starts at our Inspection Centers, where we process each vehicle after arriving from auction. Our dedicated Inspection Center employees are responsible for reconditioning all incoming inventory in preparation for delivery to our dealerships.
Our Inspection Center employees have pioneered a sense of ownership with built-in opportunities to become leaders in their industry. Our Accelerated Management Program provides a clear, focused career path for employees with previous leadership experience looking to add to their skill set. IC managers give regularly updated feedback to employees and provide the resources, mentoring and support needed to help move the whole team forward.
Start Building Your Future
At DriveTime, we view students and grads as individuals, not just seat-fillers. Each summer we hire a large group of interns in various departments at our Tempe-based home office to help drive innovation, build trust and foster intellectual curiosity for the next generation of young professionals. Our goal is to create a fully immersive learning environment for our interns outlined by collaboration and meaningful mentoring.
DriveTime interns get to build valuable career pillars while working in departments that fit their interests and passions like marketing, IT and analytics. Over the course of 10 weeks, our interns are treated like regular employees, helping with actual projects that drive the company, and take part in weekly workshops where they learn how to run meetings, go over ethics of business and even help with our charity work within the community. We encourage applicants to send in their information by April 30 in order to be considered for the program.
