- DST Systems04.Feb 2017
DST had a very good culture from at least 1993 (when I started there) until 2013 or so. Sadly, things have really headed south, largely due to a layoff in 2016 and several HR policy changes reducing vacation time and other benefits. Hopefully things will turn back around at some point (I'm writing this review in early 2017), but a lot of excellent, long-term employees left in the past year, and many more are looking for outside opportunities.
Suggestions for improvement
- DST had a good history of employee treatment until recent years, so employees do remember that DST has been willing and capable of caring for their employees. Reconsider recent changes (vacation, retirement plan contributions, delayed annual performance raises, reduced promotion raise caps, etc.), and maybe even communicate an apology to the employees for going astray in your relationship with them. This company is hemmoraging talent as the good employees are pouring out of here in the past year.
