Suggestions for improvement
- Corporate leaders should not demean store staff in front of customers. Allow Store Managers the opportunity to interview for DM positions when they become available. Ensure female supervisors make the same as their male counterparts.
I like about the employer
The store layout is great for customers.
I dislike about the employer
The values of the company are an expectation for continued employment, but the corporate leaders do not demonstrate those values in the field.
Promotions in the corporate office seemed based on "who you know."
Promotions in the field is very rare. DMs and RMs are consistently external candidates.
Career development is not available beyond Store Manager.
