Each person and department is just looking out for themselves. There is no stability in the job position.
Support from management
Here again is the major problem. Removing the president and developing a culture of teamwork would be a good start.
What teamwork. The problem starts with the president who is clueless about teamwork even though his military background would suggest otherwise.
Freedom to work independently
Every department and person will interject their opinions on everyone else's job.
This is a major problem. Every department has an ego that they are the most important rather than working together as a company.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Everyone is their for just themselves unfortunately.
There is none.
There is no loyalty among the employees. So the job security is unstable.
Inclusive / Diverse
If having just two minority employees is the normal then the company is diverse.
Suggestions for improvement
- Major changes need to be implimented. The owner needs to remove a president who does not develop teamwork and major goals as a company. The owner is blinded by the president's military past which does not translate to good business practices.
What I like about the company
Knowing that the mistakes made by the company will help ex employees find the right company to work for.
What I dislike about the company
The lack of unity, teamwork, and egos.
