There are some fantastic people at Dura. However, as the management continues to be less than... that filters down through all departments.
They verbally encourage, but when asked for assistance, teams are chastised/blamed.
Freedom to work independently
Too many procedures that overlap/don’t make sense. They have added whole departments to track people, inhibiting our success.
They are great at communicating what we do wrong, but not good motivators. They react rather than plan and are not engaged with the working level.
Growth opportunities exist because they continue to lose people to attrition.
They take all that you will give, with little care to the family.
I left the company because I felt my own integrity was being compromised at the customer.
Not enough people in the department, so the workload is quite substantial. Also, the nature of the job (sales) is difficult.
Suggestions for improvement
- Empower the employees. If you don’t trust your employees then get new ones.
What I like about the company
There are still some great long-term employees at Dura. It is a nice office with a great location.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of manangement engagement... they would rather blame then help. Deteriorating morale.
