Support from management
If you are a yes man, then management will at least talk to you, but not often. However, once you have upset them, for any reason, they will hardly ever speak with you unless they need something only you can do.
There were only a few people in the company who knew what it was to be part of a team.
Freedom to work independently
Their unspoken philosophy is be active, not productive.
There is no communication until the very last minute and even then it is sparse.
There is no training but you are expected to know everything.
Overall compensation for your work
They will try and low ball you on your salary and you have to fight for any raise you may get and it won't be what you deserve.
You will have zero personal life. When you try to take a vacation or time off, you have to fight for it.
There are some good challenges.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to sell the company to a larger company that knows how to develop a team, manage and train employees.
What I like about the company
You got to go to some sporting events
What I dislike about the company
You are expected to be available at all times and are not compensated for your worth.
