Suggestions for improvement
- I would say 90% of the employees in my department feel significantly underpaid. There is also a huge issue with temperature control. There is no heat in the winter and we all end up wearing winter jackets and scarves in a setting where they can easily be contaminated. I also feel that the write up policy is unfair. If an employee calls out sick or is SENT HOME BY A SUPERVISOR, they will be written up. Even if they have a doctors note. A girl in my department was in our own hospital having emergency surgery after a miscarriage and was written up for not coming to work. I think that is ridiculous.
What I like about the company
My direct supervisor is incredibly empathetic and flexible. She goes out of her way to make my and other employees lives and jobs easier. She's a great person to work for.
