Support from management
Hired a manager with no operating room experience. She would leave staff in the rooms forcing them to do overtime without asking if they could stay. She routinely yelled at staff members, and had no idea what we did, or how to utilize staff effectively.
Career opportunities were equal.
Suggestions for improvement
- Change their mentality that they don't have to respect employees because they are Eisenhower. They had a mass exodus of their permanent staff, then abused the temporary staff, and they quit also. They ended up hiring new graduates who couldn't get hired anywhere else and needed the experience. Even they were planning to quit as soon as they got trained.
