Yes. Safety concerns pertain to an occasional psychologically challenged student.
Suggestions for improvement
- To better facilitate student assimilation into American culture, provide students to enter the workforce, and keep classes open and ensure continuous teacher employment, attendance requirements should be enforced. Classes with recurring attendance issues (tardiness, absenteeism, early leaving) can and sometimes are closed, leaving teachers unemployed on occasion. Students who cite jobs and children as reasons for arriving late, leaving early, and being absent upon registration should be directed to distance learning rather than ESL classes.
What I like about the company
This one of few companies at which age is an asset. A majority of immigrant students respond more positively to older as opposed to very young teachers, based on the respect assigned to older people in Mexican, Central American, Chinese, Vietnames, Burmese, and other cultures.
What I dislike about the company
Because a majority of instructors are hired on a part-time teaching assignments can be tenuous, based on student enrollment and funding.
