No culture other than money. You never know how much is required, just that it's not enough for your bonus.
Support from management
There is no support. You do a great job and they take credit, you get nothing not even a "nice work" you do an OK job they criticize you and don't tell you where you could improve just that it's wrong, you do a really really bad job and if you're friends you get promoted if you're not you get made fun of.
There's no support, no real growth except what you choose to learn on your own.
Clear Direction and needed training would be great instead of having good people figure out their strengths and weaknesses and then take their expertise elsewhere.
This depends on your immediate group. There are a couple that are great and I respect them and their efforts. Others are horrible, never want to change or grow or learn new things and make it very hard on those who have to work with/for them.
Freedom to work independently
Again, depends on your immediate group or who you're friends are. Your individual work is only seen as yours if your boss knows and appreciates you, otherwise you'll constantly be told what to do by your micromanaging boss, regardless of fact you are already doing it, so they feel like they contributed to your work.
Does not exist.
There are men, there are women. They are not equal here. There are managers and there are workers. They are from two different planets apparently as they don't communicate from the top down, and going up the chain, communication stops at the mid level as executive persons don't care what anyone that's not a manager has to say.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There is a lot of tension and strain here. Only the workers feel it, managers don't listen and are clueless of the effects this has on morale.
Nope. Not unless you are a tech that started entry level. No movement, training, development, acknowledgement or mobility.
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
This they excel at, safety and ergonomics is important at all areas of work.
Not a thing.
You cannot work overtime unless approved most of the time, but you also need to be available to work overtime all the time. There is no understanding by management that these two things conflict.
They work hard to preserve this globally.
Only for those who are friends of management.
Highest safety rating in the industry.
For me this is not here, I ask for more to do and show that I'm capable of doing it by helping in many other areas when we were short staffed, but when I asked to move into another area I was told that "you don't really want to do that, that's a man's job"
Inclusive / Diverse
Not here, which is weird since the area is quite diverse.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to listen to the group not just other managers. The morale is at an all time low and getting worse daily.
What I like about the company
It's close to my home. And I like most of the people here.
What I dislike about the company
They have no communication to the employee and there are no opportunities for growth.
