Suggestions for improvement
- Smaller caseloads, higher pay. Safety needs to be priority. We are outreach workers who go alone into sometimes very rough neighborhoods and apartment buildings.
What I like about the company
My coworkers are a great bunch of people.
What I dislike about the company
It's a great idea. To change the quality of lives for the mentally ill, but the politics behind it don't allow much of that. Instead, workers end up being private caretakers and go to people for all their needs, which in the long run enables this population. In addition to being responsible for the over all well being of large caseloads there is an enormous amount of paperwork, meetings, training's, and treatment planning. It is a lot of work with a great deal of responsibility for not much pay.
