Support from management
Many senior field employees opinions did not matter. If a new guy was hired as a higher position than someone who currently has more time with the company, his words were taken over an employee with a less rank in the company.
Everyone in the field worked well with eachother. Management really didnt work well with field employees.
Freedom to work independently
Labors kind of had a heavier work load than the higher ranked employees. Formers, finishers, and formans kind of just used the labors to their own advantage. Something needed to be done that they didnt want to do, they made a labor do it, even if the labor was working on another task.
Office / Work Environment
Bosses do good job of supplying needed materials to complete job.
Inclusive / Diverse
Field workers are all hispanic and 1 or 2 white guys. Seems the supervisor of the field guys promote the hispanic guys more than the white guys.
The office is all white people.
Suggestions for improvement
- Please drug test employees. A few guys drink and smoke weed daily on break or at lunch.
What I dislike about the company
No health care. No direct deposit. No 401k or retirement plan.
