Suggestions for improvement
- Allow people who have the ability to work remotely do so for the little time they have left either of their own volition or more layoffs. This isn't a groundbreaking idea, it is being done in more progressive companies. It would save $ in space and utilities and improve morale. For those that cannot at least don't change their hours, they molded their lives around their jobs. If you going to change this, do it for any courageous new hires so at least they know what the terms are from the onset; but let's face it, there aren't going to be any new hires or positions replaced if you are going to be making the existing employees work longer hours.
