There is no work/life balance here. Only work. Managers are expected to be on call at any time (thus the company phone and laptop), but there is no comp time offered nor the ability to work from home once a week
Does not exist. The CEO has periodic meetings with management to share news/events of the company. This information is supposed to be trickled down to all staff. However, management never informs staff members. So most of the time we're all just oblivious to any changes, updates, or news in general
does not exist. I've been with the company several years and they don't even give their employees a Christmas party offsite. We tried to initiate it once, but the resounding answer was No.
Suggestions for improvement
- The clinical department is frighteningly mismanaged. In the past 12 months, there has been so much turn over from people voluntarily leaving the company. The director of operations has no people skills whatsoever. Depending on what type of mood she's in each day determines how she interacts with her staff.
