They say they have a "Christian" culture, but that is false. Employees treated poorly and not in a Christian manner.
Support from management
Leadership micro-manages everything. No training offered. Expected to know all duties from day one. I was lied to about my duties and when I started, my duties were completely different. Very uncomfortable.
Woman are not treated with same respect as men. It's a good ol boy team environment.
Poor opportunities for advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits were good, then management started cutting back on bonuses and 401k match. Everything you are told in the initial interview is a lie and misleading.
Very restrictive on days off and no work-life balance. They don't understand if you have a Dr appointment or a sick child.
When you are interviewed, you are told about the Christian culture and how nobody has been laid off in poor economic times. Employees are not laid off---they are flat out fired! Huge turn over of all staff in last year.
I worked there four months and realized after day three it was the wrong place to be. No one feels secure and everyone worries about the owner firing you for the smallest thing.
Work very challenging because little to no training was provided
Inclusive / Diverse
The owner doesn't want to hear bad things. Other employees "suck up" by only telling what he wants to hear.
Suggestions for improvement
- Owner needs to trust employees and if he's going to "talk the talk, he needs to walk the walk" as far as company culture and work environment are concerned.
What I like about the company
Nothing....horrible place to work.
What I dislike about the company
Micro-managing supervisors, poor training and orientation for new employees, false and misleading company culture, employees are fired at the "whim" of the owner, no job security, employees always fearful and looking over their shoulder, owner hires his "pets" and brings them in to run departments.
