At this location, we all seem to understand that it is a challenging place to work, so we do try to help one another.
From the top on down, communication is always causing us to work 2 times harder.
Have realistic ideas that you will not move up.
Overall compensation for your work
Lowest rung of the salary ladder, health insurance, no bonuses, etc.
Office / Work Environment
Water and oil on the floor very common, heat and air usually do not work. Right now they do work, but we are forced to keep the heat so low, most Management wear coats and hats in their offices.
I have seen people fired or 'let go' with zero warning.
The safety standards here make me cringe
Suggestions for improvement
- Upper Management: let the people that work for you know that you appreciate them. We cannot keep good operators because we do not pay to industry standard.
