No trust in new management. They cut so many people everyone is worried about having a job never mind a career.
Support from management
New upper management team in Pittsburgh. They came in and cleaned house. Many good experienced people let go for no other reason then they where making good salaries. They did it by making in achievable goal.
Attitude towards older colleagues
New management does not care if you have given 20 years if you make to much money your gone. Some sooner then others. They will ask you to take a significant pay cut or even in some cases a demotion. If you don't they say goodbye!!
Overall compensation for your work
This was always a reason to put up with the downside of the job. Now they make goals but there is no way to hit them. In last year I do not know anyone that was able to achieve them. It is all or nothing. You can be killing it in 2 areas but come up a bit short on third goal they say better luck next time.
There is none. Get ready for 11 hour days. New management expect you to apply anywhere in the group. That means even if it is 2 hours each way or just uproot your life and move. Even if it is for similar money just with a higher position.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get to know your employees. There are many that loved this company now we are second guessing moving on. Not by choice just because there is no job security.
What I like about the company
Pay and time off is higher then most employers.
What I dislike about the company
Goals which translates to pay raises non existent. Right now absolutely no job security. New management has created a fearful culture.
