Extremely political and often toxic. Managers do not treat their people well in many teams, leadership does not address bad leaders and people are hired who are not qualified to lead people who do know what they are doing. If things don't go well, people at the bottom are scapegoated and people who should be accountable are not. A lot of throwing people under the bus and marginalizing good people.
Support from management
There are not clear goals set, expectations are high but not always clear, employees are not involved in a lot of the decisions. Managers are protective of themselves often to the detriment of their team members. Half of the teams don't even get a real yearly review, or even a quarterly conversation about their performance. No path to success to follow.
