Overall compensation for your work
Get out of there, run. Salaried employees typically work weekends.
We hire fake workers to make it look like theres more people working there when clients visit.
Suggestions for improvement
- Create products that there is demand for and is economical to produce on a consistent basis then you can pay your employees better instead of wasting so much on research that never goes anywhere.
What I like about the company
Coming in and out you didn't exactly have to be on time, hours were flexible, but you still made 80 hours every two weeks. Very high end electronic test equipment, good place to learn if you didn't mind getting yelled at once in a while.
What I dislike about the company
Pay wasn't enough for being able to afford to live in New Jersey. People got yelled at a lot in the front office for no reason. A lot of products didn't work and it was the employees that got blamed when it was really the lack of engineering. There were a lot of big arguments between upper management and the owners themselves leading to confusion and nothing getting done. Some people got paid for doing nothing and when they took a long time off because they were favored which was really unfair to other employees but kept quiet. Theres no higher authority to report to when when the boss is wrong about accusing workers of doing stupid things which they didn't do which leads to resentment of the people in charge and a feeling of " I can't wait to leave this stupid company" and thats why I am saying get out of there, RUN!
