What I like

Absolutely nothing.

What I dislike

The office manager.

Suggestions for improvement

Only improvement would be for the business to close their doors.

Overall compensation for your work

Pay scale is low.

Teamwork

For the most part, staff worked well together. Management caused friction between departments.

Support from management

Office manager treats you like a child. She talks to you like you are two years old.

Office / Work Environment

Very negative work environment.

Job Security

Office manager will fire you without cause if she doesn’t like you.

Freedom to work independently

Management was ALWAYS overbearing. She would sit and listen from her desk in the back and then scream at you.

What I like

Owners, manager, providers and staff are some of the best people I have ever worked with. Going to work is like going to be with your second family for the day.

Company Culture

Staffed with psychiatrists,NP, psychologist, therapists, manager, customer service, receptionist, intake manager and nursing staff to provide the up most care in one office. Also owned by wonderful people who work there as well and oversee the daily operations.

Company Image

Great. One of the only few privately owned psychiatric clinics. It's a small business with a small staff which allows for more personal relationships with patients as well as co- workers.

Work-Life Balance

Very understanding that staff has families to tend too. There is never a problem if you need to take time off for illness, pick up a sick kid or even if you just need to run a quick errand that must be done during business hours. Very flexible and understanding if you go to management with a problem.

Career Development

I have learned a lot since I starting working here. If there is something new I would like to do management is more than willing to take the time to show you.

Handicapped Accessibility

Handicap parking spot. Railings in the bathrooms. Caring staff to help assist patients with special mobility needs.

Overall compensation for your work

Fair pay. PTO hour accrual could be a little better.

Environmental Friendliness

We have a recycle bin. Staff takes home boxes for repurposing.

Workplace Safety

Safety measures in place, security and panic alarms.

Teamwork

Above average. Everyone gets along very well and never hesitate to help a co-worker in need.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Everyone is treated equally regardless of age.

Support from management

Everything needed to do my job is provided. If something breaks it is fixed or replaced in a timely manner. Management is also open to provide any equipment or software to make your work flow easier.

Office / Work Environment

A little chilly. Genuine happy/comfortable environment to work in.

Challenging Work

Working with psychiatric patients is always a challenge but is rewarding when you can truly make a difference in their day with kindness, patience and compassion.

Job Security

Yes. Not planning on going any where any time soon. This company makes me feel needed and missed when I am not there.

Internal Communication

Messaging, phone and referral systems in place. No problems communicating with fellow staff members.

Gender Equality

Yes.

Freedom to work independently

Yes I work independently. As long as you are doing your job correctly, you are trusted to work independently. Current staff is very reliable and trustworthy.

Inclusive / Diverse

Very busy Mental Health Office is growing!

Company Culture

We have multiple providers, a practice manager, office manager and a support staff. We work together and are continuously striving to improve.

Company Image

I am proud and happy to work here. If I wasn't I would move on.

Work-Life Balance

I sometimes have to take off to care for a family member. They have been nothing but supportive and allow me to make time up so I don't have to use my PTO up.

Handicapped Accessibility

The bathrooms have wheel chair accessible sinks and grab bars by the toilets. Automatic entry doors would be helpful for some patients.

Overall compensation for your work

I feel I'm paid fairly .

Inclusive / Diverse

Opinions are listened to but not always acted on. Which is fine. Not my business to run.

Environmental Friendliness

The company tried it but there was a service issue. Now a few of us take the recycling home regularly.

Workplace Safety

Yes. There is a procedure in place in the event it's needed.

Teamwork

The staff is cross trained so there is coverage if someone is off for any reason.

Attitude towards older colleagues

This is not an area that I am part of. We have had a couple providers retire in the last year and they are missed by all.

Support from management

I am asked for my opinion on some processes. I have a fairly large workload but I am never pressured to do more than I can do.

Office / Work Environment

Everything is fine. If I'm cold I put a sweater on.

Challenging Work

I do find my job challenging. Working with public always is. But I enjoy what I do.

Job Security

I feel very secure in my position. Unfortunately there is a growing need for mental health professionals and that grows the need for nursing and other support staff.

Internal Communication

There are monthly meetings for staff . Also emails are sent out as needed to notify employees and providers of changes. There has been much improvement in this area.

Gender Equality

I would say yes based on job experience

Freedom to work independently

I work independently every day except when I'm training someone in a new process I have.

What I like

I liked most of the doctors and therapist.

What I dislike

Management. (Manager)

Suggestions for improvement

That office was a completely different place before new management took over the owner is a lovely woman and her and her husband one of the doctors there are great they are blinded by management before change in manager the had to buildings and 14 providers now they are down to one building and 8 providers and 3 more talking talking about leaving and 1 definitely making plans to leave how do you loose half your practice by one manager....

Company Image

The doctors and therapist are leaving because the place has gone downhill why would receptionist and nurses want to stay.

Work-Life Balance

No they could care less if you have have a family at home to go to yiu could have got there at 7am and opened and they will tell you well your staying until 7pm to close because I have a hair appt or a nail appt or a masage I already scheduled for me.

Overall compensation for your work

Work load is huge and pay is minimum. Also you are REQUIRED to use your vacation/pto hours for dr appts and when your sick so yiu will never have enough buit up to actually take a vacation unless yiu never have any appts and are never sick you don't earn and vacation time pto counts as vaca

Inclusive / Diverse

No its is one opinion/person rules all. Nothing else matters.

Support from management

No employees make no decisions and expectations are you do management's job besides the signature part and management signs their name to it and takes credit for it

Gender Equality

Women yes but a particular person age discriminates towards people especially under 35

Freedom to work independently

No every move you make is watched secretly through the computers and calls are listened to.

Former C-Suite / LeadershipWorked in Administration until 2017.

What I like

The owners seem to be nice pepole just nieve to the whole situation and they have a couple nice doctors and therapist.

What I dislike

Management needs training or just completely replaced.

Suggestions for improvement

Management needs replaced or trained for square one she has no clue what she is doing and had no people skills for employees or patients.

Company Culture

Everyone feels akward and uncomfortable like yiu have to constantly watch your back.

Company Image

No people have horror stories about the place.

Work-Life Balance

Your forced to work more hours they don't care if you have a family or not a schedule is made and if the person who makes it doesn't want to open or close you may be working 7am to 7pm and she will not stay over to cover shifts.

Career Development

Nothing is offered at all.

Handicapped Accessibility

No ramp, no automatic doors nothing for people with disabilities.

Overall compensation for your work

Not at all. Two people doing same exact job hired on same day both no experience one in her late 20s paid 9.50 an hour other lady in her early 40's makes 15 an hr.

Inclusive / Diverse

No applications are thrown out without phone call or interview or anything if the name even sounds a little African American.

Environmental Friendliness

Not at all

Workplace Safety

No training provided. One employee was told to stand in a desk chair and take out a window to be replaced.

Teamwork

Everyone feels like each other is out to get you because your called into the office and told my name someone said something about you and encouraged to talk badly about that person behind closed doors.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Only one older lady 60 plus their and they are doing everything to push her out the door.

Support from management

Has no clue how to run a business or a staff that is the main reason staff and doctors leave. No clear direction the person you suppose to get direction from has not a single clue how to do anything there.

Office / Work Environment

Internet is always down. Bathroom toilet doesn't flush. Carpet is covered in dog urine. Fax machine is always broken or needing maintenance.

Challenging Work

No the whole place feels like a big joke I would not be suprised if they don't get shut down within the next few years.

Job Security

They are going broke doctors are leaving at add leaves they can't keep anyome they have to use a temp service and they could fire yiu at any moment.

Gender Equality

Mostly women work there besides doctors. They do treat pepole differently if they are younger than 40 less pay, more work, etc

Freedom to work independently

You are watche'd at all times your email is read by others before you and sometimes replied to like it was you replying or just deleted. Every click you make on the computer is monitored and everyone call is listened to.
