Support from management
The director in 2015 was very unorganized and didn't know how to talk employees when stressful situations arose.
Teachers worked great together
Rarely any feedback on how your doing or how the company is doing. Communication is lost a lot of times between director and employees
It's a lot of favoritism.
Expect you to work even when you have the flu. They get upset when you call out because of weather or illness.
If given in advance they do try to give you vacation time.
It's working with kids so you have to have patience and realize each day is going to be different
Suggestions for improvement
- I would suggest supporting the teachers by offering reimbursement on the classes they have to take to remain certified, discourage gossip, give annual raises, and encourage them to get involved in making the school better.
What I like about the company
I liked working with my coworkers, the kids, and parents they were all very pleasant.
What I dislike about the company
The management was unsupportive and sometimes inappropriate.
