- Constellation, an Exelon Company21.Aug 2018
Very zealous about promoting the message of diversity, gender equality, and inclusion. Also attentive to work-life balance
Overall good, but can be a bit siloed at times due to the many different groups
Both genders are treated equally in the workplace, as with any other Fortune 100 company.
They strive to promote and hire internally first, before making opportunities publicly known.
Overall compensation for your work
Satisfactory for an intern.
The company stresses this
Overall good. Many people don't know who we are or what we do, but those that do know do not think negatively of us.
High job security.
Inclusive / Diverse
They very heavily try to push diversity and its perceived benefits, too much so at times. The work environment isn't very diverse, but its friendly and they put effort into ensuring inclusion.
Suggestions for improvement
- Put more focus on the actual work that brings in money and makes you a business, and stay out of the political fray. This is an energy company, not a commodities business.
What I like about the company
Its very multi-faceted. There are many different groups and roles within the company that can be transitioned into, and they do many different things in the energy industry.
What I dislike about the company
They can spend an overwhelmingly high amount of attention on PR that does not relate to the business need.
