Culture of fear and dishonesty favoring cronyism over integrity
Support from management
Not much if any support from management for the employees. Those who do support their people don't last long.
Cronyism and scape-goat tactics makes teamwork among employees difficult.
Freedom to work independently
You're allowed to work independently pulling 80 hours a week, you can even work from home. If you want to work 80 hours that is...
Exelon is good about communicating to it's employees even if that communication less than genuine.
Men and women are treated equally.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Outright discriminatory and they use their severance language as a way to keep from being sued.
Lack of integrity and merit. Difficult to make it in a culture like that.
Overall compensation for your work
Good wages, but given the number of hours expected not so much.
Office / Work Environment
They do make an effort to recycle.
If I could provide 0 stars I would. There is no upward limit to the number of hours expected for an employee to provide. The organization talks about work-life balance, but does nothing to encourage it. Dishonest...
Culture of fear and abuse, no security.
No problems here.
Mixed feelings here. I was very proud of my work, but lots of unnecessary scrambling and extra effort because management makes poor decisions.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity and inclusion over merit and integrity.
Suggestions for improvement
- Internal Audits and Management overhaul!
What I like about the company
Not much... They make an effort to recycle and use natural light in their workspace.
What I dislike about the company
Disingenuous, dishonest, discriminatory.
