Culture needs improvement to a more positive nature.
Support from management
This is the biggest problem. There is a great deal of pointing the finger and not enough support.
Teamwork is developed by the employees, but would benefit if the leadership were a little more positive.
Freedom to work independently
The level of Autonomy is essential the only way things get done. I wish management would support it and not micro manage it.
schedules change constantly. It would be more effective if once the schedule was posted, it stay the same.
There are equal parts of men vs women but there is a tendency towards women being the superior. They should think of equality as across the board.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I don't see any real issues there. I believe it would be beneficial if older folks were hired more.
There were interns but the focus was about the work and not teachings. Everyone would benefit if there were a mentoring project there.
Overall compensation for your work
compensation is a little below standard with very little benefits. That is an easy fix.
Office / Work Environment
Management is hostile and unfriendly. I think it would be best to be supportive and not negative.
It would a great enhancement for the club if they would at least recycle restaurant waste. All not some.
6 days a week 12 - 15 hour days. It would be beneficial to all if there were breaks and more family time.
It would be nice if I could go somewhewre, mention where I work and not have folks roll their eyes about the management.
Seasonal position. No guarantees. There is always a question. I once heard someone in management say, if they don't like it, throw them to the curb.
handicapped visitors to the club house would have to wheel through the kitchen to get to the bar. It is a simple fix in taking out a curb or two.
for the most part, the workplace is clean and follows safety standard. I would say it's probably not the best advice to throw the mop water on the ground instead of down the mop sink drain.
the challenge isn't the work per say, it's communication that is lacking that is challenging. I wish management would communicate better.
Inclusive / Diverse
There is very little diversity with employees and with clients. Inclusion would be a great improvement.
