Always making promises, but rarely follow through.
Support from management
Management will only help you by showing you the door.
Everything is handled as a need to know basis. Managers consistently do not provide their direct reports with valuable information that could facilitate changes.
Freedom to work independently
You are always working independently because management does nothing.
Employees are only provided with information regarding major changes to company policy when it is too late to handle effectively
Attitude towards older colleagues
Age is a liability in the fitness business. Also, older employees have the audacity to expect being treated as humans.
Career advancement is only the result of astronomical turnaround.
Overall compensation for your work
I happened to be paid well, but also knew from other employees that others were paid at industry minimums.
People are required to act friendly, but it is only an act.
Preach a lie about work life balance, but it is shameful hypocrisy.
Appear to be leading the industry, but it is all smoke and mirrors
EXOS expects high turnover rates. Employee retention is never a priority.
The lack of management logically creates challenging work.
