It was an environment in which finding unique solutions to issues was encouraged and obtaining knowledge is inevitable
Suggestions for improvement
- CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, one manager or at least managers who communicate with each other concerning assigning tasks to and instructing subordinates, advanced notice concerning the nature of the position (temporary vs permanent) and when deadline of a temporary position's conclusion is approaching, be more open to answer questions.
What I like about the company
Intelligent and unique solutions to problems are encouraged and coworkers are all very pleasant and easy to work with
What I dislike about the company
While I learned a lot during my employment, there were some working there whose attitude (irritation at being disturbed mostly) discouraged me from asking questions. Furthermore, I had two different managers that I reported to while I worked there, and conflicting instructions on tasks that I was assigned to complete where the cause of multiple incidents/frustrated managers. One last aspect that frustrated me was the lack of information I was provided concerning the nature of my employment (I was never at any point told that that this was only a temporary position) and the short (1 week/3 actual work days) notice I received when the end of my temporary position arrived, leaving me scrambling to look for new work.
