Suggestions for improvement
- A lot of changes could be made to improve this company. Everyone is overworked and every department is understaffed. People are constantly getting hired and then quitting because they realize what a horrible place to work Family and Children's Services is.
What I like about the company
At first I thought everyone was really nice and helpful but the longer I worked here the more I realized that is not the case. Management only cares about billing and making sure you bill clients and meet minimum billing each week rather than how much you are helping clients. When there are any problems they do not care and will not try to problem solve or make the situation right. The pay is horrible and you are expected to work overtime without compensation. The paid time off you get is not enough and they will not allow you to take unpaid time off. For my job position you are required to have a bachelor's degree however we are treated like preschoolers. The management team does not trust us as employees and adults to do things on our own. They micromanage everyone until you feel suffocated. They talk about the importance of self care but do not recognize nor care when someone is burnt out. There is a high turnover rate for a reason. This is not somewhere you want to work. Keep looking for another job. I promise you will not be happy here.
